Welcome! The name of our publication is taken from
Henry Miller's
Tropic of Capricorn. Though it has very
little to do with Mastodons or Dentistry, our goal is
to do the impossible: publish meaningful poetry and
unique artwork that is at once conspicuous for its
brilliance, yet available to and for all who wish to
witness it. Our Neolithic tendencies serve to remind
us of the simplicity and nature of true art.

We've been on the airwaves so to speak since the
fall of 2004 and over the brief time we've been with
you we've published something like 150 different
poets from all over the world.  We continue to find
our niche, what we like and what we don't like,
learning from our mistakes as well as our successes
(kind of like life but not really).

Our publication is a labor of love whose sole
intention is the betterment of humanity through art,
in this case poetry and art.  We don't believe in
expressing our politics and other personal beliefs to
the exclusion of others and neither favor or oppose
any social, religious, or political viewpoints. This is a
place where art can be art and make its own
statement about what is true and good. We know
there are wars and injustices and moral
aberrations, but we try to stay out of that arena
and just create something beautiful.
